Toddler Triangles a blend of art and game, designed to create a safe space for small children to start exploring the iPhone and iPad. Its a simple minimalist experience of shapes, colors and sounds that emphasizes simple touch gestures.
I designed Toddler Triangles for my daughter, after getting frustrated with the aggressive marketing tactics of many kids apps. The app has been designed with, notably, no UI to speak of. Its a single-serving app, so to speak, which more accurately mirrors the way children play on smartphones and tablets: diving in and back out of application experiences using the physical home button.
